Next I had a hunt with Keith Kocher from Phoenix. Keith was coming out to hunt with Vaquero and myself on an Arizona elk hunt. We hunted hard for 6 days also having awesome encounters up close and personal at 5 yards. The bulls were fired up and getting with it and we got to enjoy it. Keith did not want to leave this hunt without a bull and on the morning of his last day we chose to shoot this management bull to help the ranch out. We had an amazing time and made memories we soon will not forget. I called Keith's bull into 18 yards and he stood at full draw for almost two minutes before he delivered a perfect shot. His bull went 35 yards before falling over and expiring. Thanks Keith again, although we didn't find the big one we still had fun and got to enjoy Arizona in a way most will never have the chance to see.

2013 Arizona Archery Elk
I had the great pleasure of being able to take some time off of work and go out and hunt elk with a couple different people in Arizona. To say the year was successful is an understatement.... My first hunt was with Cindi Richardson on a hunt she had booked with Vaquero Outfitters on a private ranch in central Arizona. Cindi and I hunted hard for 6 days before finding a bull she wanted to pursue. On the morning of the 6th day we found a bull we wanted to go after and spent all day trying to accomplish it. I'm going to let the pictures say the rest in hopes the story will be published but Cindi's bull ended up officially scoring 429 gross and 388 net. Congrats again Cindi, thank you for a day I'll never forget!!
